The Saskatoon Strings (strings player aged 10-18) and the Saskatoon Youth Orchestra (players of orchestral instruments aged 14-25) are holding auditions on Friday, Jan. 3 from 7-9 pm. Our players are required to continue to study privately.
Our term 2 schedule begins Sunday, Jan. 5 and runs until April.
Both our ensembles rehearse Sunday evenings at the Music Department at the University of Saskatchewan.

- violas
- cellos
- double bassists

- trumpets
- double bassists
- percussionists,
- violas
And is open to:
- violinists
- french horns
- cellos
We do not currently have space for more:
- clarinets
- flutes
- trombones
- tubas (look for our spring auditions for the 2025-26 season).
